The VoteMode script on the server has (finally) been adapted to support scripted gamemodes. I've just finished testing several new gamemodes with the help of some players. On popular demand the m79 Climb Mode has been scripted as well, now providing 2 m79's and giving nades automatically. Also new: to start a vote, you now only type the name (or shortened name) of the gamemode, like "!ctf".

There are currently 21 gamemodes and I think that will be maximum for now. The script has a function to keep track of the popularity of all gamemodes and I am planning to replace the lesser popular gamemodes with new ones. But more on popularity and new modes later.
Here's a list of all gamemodes and how to start a vote for them:

As before you can check this list ingame by typing "!gamemodes". For all the other commands try "!help". Usually the third-party scripts give access to their own help text when you type "/help", but that will be noted in the global help text (the one with the ! ).

As always, the VoteMode script is in BETA PHASE, that means: pleaaase report any bugs/problems/irregularities to me by pm.

Reported bugs (thanks, Lucy and Twin):
- (Short) voting doesn't work properly. Seems to be fixed, by removing a bug that should've really screw up voting completely.
- Voting countdown starts low (should start at 60).
- Voting countdown goes up. Not a bug, if a player votes 10 secs is added to countdown.
- Voting rounds don't end properly, although time is up the vote is still 'on'.
- SpaceGame should be with two teams or something. This is however how I dl-ed the script and the maps only have flag-spawnpoints for PointMatch. Fixed, mode is HTF, Twin is brilliant.
- Stats on (m79)Climb don't seem to work properly. If anyone can confirm this or give more info, would be great. Fixed

I went on Vote a little while ago and tried !sg. I don't know what happened, but right after Soldat froze on me and I couldn't Alt+Tab to get out. I had to hard shut down.

RS? Hate to tell you Wolf, but that mode will likely see about as much action as Mikey does on a saturday night...which isn't much. Tounge

That said, I'm loving the vote server. It's a nice place to go for a change from s&s Smile

Also, if in fact you need to switch an unpopular mode with a new one, may I suggest the soldiball mode (If you know which I'm talking about).
