To make this tournament successful, we need a place where we can meet up and talk, and organize matches. If this tournament was to fail, it would only be because people aren't communicating. I've asked many teams when they're gunna play and they say "whenever the other team wants" so if that's the case, THEN WHY DON'T THE HELL YOU ASK THEM AND SCHEDULE A MATCH AND LET YOUR TEAMMATES KNOW. So now, we have an easy way to communicate, you join
#ectf.tourney and you can hopefully find your teammates and enemies. IRC is the most convenient way to chat between many people.
If not, find your team/opponents over xfire or msn. Which ever, as long as you play, then I won't ban

Hhahaaha, just kidding, but seriously...
ORGANIZE YOUR MATCHES!!!

IRC is a very ancient chat protocol. There are many servers on the web that allow thousands of users. One of these servers is
quakenet.org. On that server all the IRC-active soldateers reside (and many other gamers) in their own channels.
Now to get to the server you can do two things, use your browser (buggy, ugly) or download an IRC client.
If you go for the client then better go to
mirc.com download and read the instructions how to connect to a server.
As for a quick web visit, you can use our CHAT button (really!! it's up there in the menu!). And if that doesn't work, you might want to try a different browser such as
FireFox...
Once on the server you can use the command
/j #channel.name to join any channel and if you don't like your nickname just try
/nick myname.
Have Fun, Good Luck and Thank You for your Attention.
