As far as these forums are concerned, these rules go for all !Elite servers. However, in game, different owners might handle variants on these rules on their server. Make sure you are aware who's server you play on and what the rules are.

What is allowed and what is not in the servers

1. Hacking
Guess what? ITS NOT ALLOWED. However we are pretty sure that BE will take care of most of the cheaters, if the admins catch you cheating or for that matter EXPLOITING BUGS/GLITCHES (including poly-glitches!), you will be instantly banned for the next 30 days. If not... forever.
This ALSO includes advertising or requesting hacks/cheats and helping others exploit glitches.

2. Swearing, offending and spam
General swearing is allowed. Offending, though, is a different story. Picking on one's nationality, gender, age, skills, playing style, religion, sexual orientation and such is not welcome here. Yes, playing style as well. We will get along with someone who is going around yelling "<<Weapon name here>> n***!". You may get away with it, though, as long as no-one feels offended by you. However the admins are getting pretty sick of it on these two servers.
Another thing is sexual harassment. Yes we know there aren't much girls on the internetz, let alone Soldat. However just leave them alone and treat them like any other player. Don't be a little horny nerdy 14 year old trying to get some via cyber, you're just being pathetic.
Be advised that all admins may /gmute whenever, wherever they like. Consider these mutes as a warning. After that a regular 30-day ban will be in place.

3. SpawnKilling
I wont go in to deep about this. Spawnkilling is NOT illegal, though not encouraged either. Admins will decide whether the spawnkilling is too extensive or not.
Admins will punish your extensive spawnkilling, with a nice adminkill. Consider these kills as a warning. After that it's yer good-old 30-day ban.

4. Camping
Camping is a tactic (how lame it may be) and is thus allowed. Extensive camping is not allowed. Admins will, again, decide what is extensive and what is not.
So be advised, admins may kill or even kick you for EXTENSIVE camping. Ignore these warnings and you might get banned.

5. VoteKicking
Feel free to vote a kick for anyone You see breaking the rules.
Feel free to vote a kick for anyone who is not in the spectator team and has been away from the keyboard for 5 minutes or longer.
Please don't make pointless votes, they might get you adminkilled, or kicked.
Please don't make offensive votes, they might get you kicked.. or banned.
Don't even think about a "he's using <<Weapon name here>>, kick him"-vote, cause these little mistakes will get you banned.. INSTANTLY!

6. !Admin Command
Guess what? Only use it to report hackers or people who are breaking rule number one. The rest can be resolved much easier (see rule 5). So as a wrap up, only use !admin for hacking or serious problems with the server, not to make small chit chat with admins and what not.
Disobeying this rule will get you kicked. Keep abusing the !admin command and you might deserve yourself a 30 vacation away from our servers

7. Reporting
Feel free to report anyone who is acting against the rules in the forums.
If you do so, be so kind to deliver some proof (demo's, screenshots).
Also include the time and date. And post in the appropriate sub-forum.
Cases older than 7 days will not be reviewed, unless it involves hacking.

8. Admin Abuse
In-game the admin is always right, sorry for you. That means you'll be wise not to argue with any admin while playing in the server.
If you're absolutely, positively sure that an admin abused his powers. You can send a pm to the server owner or, if you're not a member you can try e-mail JFK: whydontyouspamme[at]hotmail[dot]com
Again, include time, date and the server it took place and it would be nice if you had some proof also.
Just like unban-requests: do NOT open topics in the forums about admin abuse. These cases are handled through private channels (forum PM or IM, such as xfire)

May I remind you that it is impossible to instant kill someone while "spawning". The player must stand still 2-3 secs at least. I don't call this "instant".

8. !Admin commands
Guess what? Only use it to report hackers or people who are breaking rule number one. The rest can be resolved much easier, but don't break rule five inorder to seek justice against someone who is breaking another rule. So if you do need to votekick, write in a proper reason, don't just make it "dklhsdj, i hate them" because you will get banned. So as a wrap up, only use !admin for hacking, not to make small chit chat with admins and what not.

9. Sexual Harrassment
I've been in the servers for quite a while, even before I was an admin. I always noticed people with girl names and people with boy names, and usually, the people with the boy names would sexually harrass the people with the girl names. For one case, I don't want the servers to become harmful for any members. I know, most of you think this may be a stupid rule, until you witness it and you'll realize how many horny nerdy 14 year olds trying to get some via cyber, so you'll probably laugh at first, but then, you'll realize how pathetic it is. I really thought it was stupid or funny at first, until I started seeing it more and more often, and now I come to hate this issue.

PS JFK if you disagree with any of these rules, you may delete them.

I believe the invincibility after you spawn is not more than 1 second, so you have little time to react, plus, there is no weapon you can kill a spawncamper with directly from spawning, MAYBE LAW, but then you need to get it out, sit down and aim in less than a second, which almost never happens.

There should also be a shorter version of these rules, as I have seen people, regulars in the servers, that taunt the rules. They copy them from here and use the taunt in a specific situation, and then everyone reads it and stuff.

Thanks guys, you're advisements have been assimilated in my first post.
And Akira, i really disagree. I think standing with a saw next to a spawnpoint and running over the enemy team at the right moment, is one of the worst kinds of spawnkilling possible.

About the shorter version, i believe its possible to make a !rules command through arrse. Better however would be to have a script running which does that. However, i still need to take care over script access through u13 with flab. Im afraid that make take a while.

The thing is, you can avoid any spawner in S&L. I challenge anyone to spawn me. If they are too near i go through them while invincible, if they are too far I go the other way and if they are coming full speed I jump. The only reason why I would get "spawnkilled" is by standing still for no apparent reason. I never got spawnkilled in S&L and I will never be. If they kill me around spawn point that does not mean I got spawnkilled, that means I did the wrong move.

3. SpawnKilling and Spawncamping
Spawncamping (standing on a spot WAITING for the other team to spawn, so you'll be able to kill them before they can make a shot at you) is VERY MUCH ILLEGAL.

May I point out that in both of your servers, a shot at me means an instant death. So I should wait to get killed before I can kill him is that it? And do you really think peoples will get the difference between spawncamping and spawnkilling? The flag is always in the middle of the spawn points. Now people will votekick cause you wait for the flag and but you don't wait for them to kill you before killing them.

Myah, it tried to keep this simple. Lemme try agian:: A spawnkill once in a while is allowed. Extensive spawnkilling isnt. Now when i someone waiting at a spawnpoint, ready to kill enemy team, i call that 'spawncamping;. If your 'spawncamping' i assume you have the goal to Extensively spawnkill, thus spawncamping is not allowed.

Now if i dont want to keep it simple i could copy the text from SRY:

There are two sides to this story: Spawnkilling and spawncamping. The difference being? Spawnkilling stands for one kill of the enemy shortly after he/she respawns. Spawncamping stands for staying (also known as camping) in the respawn area and killing multiple enemy soldiers shortly after their respawn.
Spawnkilling is allowed, as long as it fits the frames below:

    * Covering the friendly flag carrier.

Sidenote: Spawnkill is considered covering as long as the friendly flag carrier is still within Your screen limits. After he/she makes it out of Your line of sight, a spawnkill is considered against the rules.

    * Waiting for the enemy flag carrier.

Sidenote: While waiting for the enemy flag carrier, You may kill the respawner only when fired upon. Translation: You may not shoot until the respawner shoots at You. After that You may shoot the heck out of them. Though luck, though, if the respawner has a Barrett for example.
Spawncamping is not allowed under any circumstances. Spawnkills that are considered covering do not count as spawncamping as long as the requirements above are met (check "Covering the friendly flag carrier" subsection).

See, if your staying at the enemy spawn to boost your stats, f*** with them, just for fun, or in any way just stand there in the purpose of killing anything that spawns as soon as it spawns, you're spawncamping, and that is prohibited. At least that's how I got it, correct me if I'm wrong.

No I stand at ennemy spawn point to get the flag when it come back. And i believe most people wont see the difference. When I "stand" there im defending myself when i see that they are coming right at me. And then they say "spawner gtfo".

You see sawing is all about positionning yourself well. I wont let the ennemy get a better position just because he is around his spawn point and therefore should be "safe".

I see your point, Glau. And you made me rethink the fact about 'standing' at a spawnpoint. However it does not take away that there are definitely people who DO intend to get as much kills as possible by standing there. Also i still believe that however it might always be possible for a player to avoid being spawnkilled, it can be pretty hard, if the spawnkiller does its timing right.

I think this is a point for the admins to decide, whether a player waits for the flag, or is intending to keep spawnkilling. I've seen a lot of people just running around with their saw on a spawnpoint and ignoring the flag. I really dont like that kind of play-style and think it should be punished. However, I think a player should be going REALLY far before a ban is in order

Spawning is the best defense against a LAW happy team. It's easy enough to avoid spawning. The only time it truly seems unfair is when your team is too stupid to avoid the spawning, forcing you to try to clear out the spawners and/or basically do all the work in scoring and returning. As noted, what is the player supposed to do when at the enemy base? If you want to survive, you attack them first.

I'd say people who only spawn and do nothing but spawn could be game for a kick, as they're not even playing with their team and simply kill farming. When the spawner doesn't leave to retrieve an obviously loose nearby flag or look to capture when possible, I'd say that could be viewed as "excessive" spawning.
